V návaznosti na studii autorů „Chudoba v České republice. Kritický pohled na evropské ukazatele“ tato studie přináší souhrnný pohled na výdělky osob, příjmy domácností, přerozdělovací toky, majetkové rozdíly a hospodaření rodin, a to jednak ve vývoji v ČR a jednak ve srovnání s evropskými zeměmi. Zabývá se rovněž vnímáním nerovnosti a středostavovskou identitou.
Using the European Social Survey data we studied migration attitudes in 19 European countries, including Czechia. We introduced and tested the assumption about the bi-dimensional nature of migration attitudes, where personalized attitudes towards immigrants as individuals might differ from the generalised attitudes toward immigration as a phenomenon.
The publication focuses on the impact of formal mentoring on the start of professional paths of early career researchers at doctoral and postdoctoral stages. The book of interviews with alumni of the mentoring programme of the Centre for Gender and Science at the Institute of Sociology, Czech Academy of Sciences, gives an insight into the situation of early career researchers in the Czech Republic working and studying in various disciplines and various types of institutions.
The concept of cultural planning is relatively well-established in many countries as a tool which enables municipalities to use their potential in local development, yet still notwell-known and debated among scholars, practitioners, or the wider public in Central Europe, including in the Czech Republic.
V roce 2016 vydala VŠCHT Praha spolu se Sociologickým ústavem AV ČR knihu Hledání dynamické rovnováhy: Tři generace výzkumnic na VŠCHT Praha. Kniha ve dvaceti rozhovorech představila vědkyně, výzkumnice a pedagožky působící na VŠCHT Praha s cílem ukázat vzory začínajícím vědkyním či studentkám uvažujícím o vědecké dráze.
Publikace se zaměřuje na vliv formálního mentoringového vedení na rozjezd pracovních drah začínajících vědkyň a vědců v doktorandské a postdoktorské fázi akademické dráhy. Prostřednictvím rozhovorů s absolventkami a absolventem mentoringového programu Národního kontaktního centra – gender a věda Sociologického ústavu Akademie věd CR přináší publikace vhled do situace začínajících výzkumnic a výzkumníků v ČR působících v rozmanitých oborech na různých typech institucí.
How to assess quality has become one of the central concerns for contemporary research, not least because of the proliferation of research assessment systems around the globe. Concomitant with this has been the growing attention to factors that compromise the credibility of assessment, especially gender, ethnic, racial and geopolitical bias.
