In this article we analyze to which extend the flexible working-time arrangements help to combine the caring and working responsibilities and what the consequences of the use of such arrangements in the corporate environment. The case study describes the individual experiences of mothers with dependent children with the flexible working arrangements in one international food company. On the sample of semi structured interweaves, we demonstrate the status of these women within the corporate structure. It is apparent from the data, that they are, compared to other employees in the marginalized position. This is due to the pressure for high performance and long hours spent at work, which is acceptable especially for those with no personal and caring duties. Overall the research findings address the gaps in legislative protection of workers in alternative working arrangements.
