38% of people believe that for the income of their household they can buy or pay less than a year ago, 48% believe that the real income of their households is about the same as a year before, and 12% of respondents said that their real income during the last year has increased.

In January 2018 Public Opinion Research Centre carried out a survey about debts and loans. In this press release are published attitudes of Czech citizens to debts of common people. In this text there are also published attitudes of Czechs to individual debts, e.g. acceptability of loans for real estate, education, consumption, car, holidays or for starting a business. Another question was focused on importance of financial resources for unexpected expenses and difficulties with the repayment of debts.

We surveyed the opinion on the level of indebtment among the Czech citizens and on the level of indebtment of the Czech state. According to October 2017 survey of the Public Opinion Research Centre 14% of citizens regard taxation on high-income earners as high, 28% say it is adequate and 46% think it is low.

Taxation on average-income earners is considered to be high by 43% of respondents, adequate by 45% and low by 3% of citizens. Taxation on low-income earners was supposed to be high by 63%, adequate by 24% and low by 3%. 57% of respondents think that tax rate should be higher for high-income earners than for low-income earners.
