Representatives of the Czech population asked questions on particular environmental phenomena in the sense of their problematic character. As the most serious problems were stated the garbage cumulation (for 92% “very” + “quite” serious problem), the drinking water pollution (91%) and the drinking water deprivation (86%).

According to May 2014 survey of CVVM people are more satisfied with state of environment at their place of residence (78 %) than in the Czech republic in general (62 %). Respondents were most satisfied with accessability of free nature (87 % "satisfied"), quality of drinking water (86 %) and cleanness of surrounding nature (79 %). On the other hand respondents were dissatisfied with impact of density of traffic on the environment (57 % "dissatisfied", 43 % "satisfied").

In April within the regular survey the Centre for Public Opinion Research focused on the food waste issue. The aim of the questions was to investigate how citizens handle unconsumed food in their households, why and how often they throw it away and last but not least to uncover the practices of throwing food away in the context of shopping.
