Jan Žďárek awarded for science popularization
Professor Jan Žďárek received on October 10th the Prize of the Chairman of the R & D Council for the promotion and popularization of science and research. An internationally recognized entomologist worked in the Entomological Institute and the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Czech Academy of Sciences. He is the author of a series of publications in which he described the life of insects to the public and gained new enthusiasts for entomology.
