Abstract |
DNA bearing reactive functional groups in major groove will be prepared by polymerase incorporations of modified nucleoside triphosphates. Bioorthogonal reactions of these groups will be studied, e.g. cross-linking with proteins or reactions changing the size and bulkiness of the substituents for switching or triggering of interactions of DNA with proteins.
