IPP welcomed the leading expert in the field of ultrafast and nonlinear phenomena in condensed matter
On January 22, a nuclear and laser-plasma physicist, prof. Markus Büscher from Peter Grünberg Institute of the Forschungszentrum Jülich in Germany visited IPP.
During his visit, within the lecture titled "JuSPARC - The Jülich Short-Pulse Particle and Radiation Center", he introduced a new experimental laser facility being under construction in Jülich. Such a facility is focusing on ultrafast and nonlinear phenomena in condensed matter, material sciences, and future energy source research.
