Ivan Ďuran has been appointed as an ITER Scientist Fellow in the area of Diagnostics for a period of 3 years starting from January 2018.
His research programme will be focused on the development of ITER steady-state magnetic sensors and to leverage the collaboration between the ITER Organization and the Institute of Plasma Physics on the development of the magnetic diagnostic for ITER. This is an another step enhancing the further collaboration of the Institute of Plasma Physics and the ITER Organization addressing key R&D issues for ITER and supporting the preparations for ITER operation.
