Library of the Czech Academy of Sciences (LCAS) is a public research institution whose purpose is to conduct scientific research in the area of scientific information and library science, to establish a research-oriented information infrastructure, and to provide library-based, informational, and reprographic services to the institutes of Czech Academy of Sciences and other users active in research and science. You can choose from the complete list or from the top ten, which we picked out for you as the most interesting books. You can borrow the chosen ones this very day! If someone will be faster, you may reserve these books online or look over its digitized form in the study.

The chosen ones are displayed in the study, you can borrow or reserved them right away. They are also available in the Computer Study via the Digital Library of the LCAS.

The book return box will not be available as well due to the closure of entire building.

New items – January 2018

New items overview for the January – it’s possible to view the whole list at once or have it sorted out by fields of knowledge.
A selection of ten interesting new arrivals is available for browsing in the study (without having to order them in advance) and it simultaneously possible to browse these publications in digitalised form on the computer reserved for work with the Digital library of the Czech Academy of Sciences. You can leaf through them there and possibly print out parts of them.
