Annotation
Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) focuses on the study of high energy photons coming from distant sources in the Universe. In the current phase of the CTA project, the Czech Republic uses an infrastructure CTA-CZ with the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, the Palacky University in Olomouc and the Charles University as the partner institutions. It is very important to continue the work to complete the common infrastructure in order to meet our obligations and responsibilities within the CTA project, where the Czech Republic has already achieved its unique position. This project is a logical extension of the infrastructure financed from the national budget. It back-ups activities of CTA-CZ by essential investment and human resources.
This project is co-financed by EU.
