In April within the regular survey the Centre for Public Opinion Research focused on the food waste issue. The aim of the questions was to investigate how citizens handle unconsumed food in their households, why and how often they throw it away and last but not least to uncover the practices of throwing food away in the context of shopping.
This press release presents the outputs of respondents’ answers analysis. It doesn’t express how it correlates with their everyday food handling.

In April, the Centre for Public Opinion Research focused on satisfaction with life in the locality in general and selected living conditions close to their home. 76 % of Czechs are satisfied with living conditions in their place of residence. Less than a fifth is not satisfied.

Citizens´ attitudes related to the Czech history were surveyd by Center for Public Opinion Research in October. First, we asked who is regarded as the greatest Czech personality and also which of the selected historical periods is regarded as the greatest one. Similarly, in connection with the 20th century respondents named the three most important events since the end of World War II.
