Mláďata kukačky obecné (Cuculus canorus) uplatňují vůči vajíčkům a mláďatům hostitelských druhů vyhazovací chování (eviction behaviour). Podmínky ovlivňující toto chování byly studovány na parazitovaných hnízdech rákosníka obecného (Acrocephalus scirpaceus).
The young of the Common Cuckoo (Cuculus canorus) are known for their strong eviction behaviour against the eggs and the young of the host species. The conditions influencing the behaviour were studied in parasited nests of the Reed Warbler (Acrocephalus scirpaceus).
