The theme of partnership, marriage, parenthood was made by Center for Public Opinion Research, during the November. This investigation was divided into several blocks. Center examined the views on the optimal number of children in the family and the ideal age for entering marriage. Furthermore, the intention of the respondents had been measured at meetings to conclude their marriage life. Respondents also evaluated the statements regarding the various forms of family living life and the importance of their life goals.

November survey of CVVM asked a question related to hierarchy of aims in life. According to the results most preferred aims are related to family values and personal relations, which were represented by items like "to have steady partner" or "to have children".

In October survey CVVM focused on the subject of Czech citizen's relationships to the place of residence, the region and the country where they live and feelings of pride and shame related to their Czech citizenship and Bohemia's history, culture, politics and social life.

44 % of respondents said that they were proud of Czech Republic. On the contrary 10 % were ashamed of Czech Republic and the rest of 41 % respondents were niether proud nor ashamed.

In May 2009, CVVM survey focused on public opinion on rights of gays and lesbians such as right to get married, right for registered partnership and right for children adoption. As a part of this press release the answers were sorted according to socio-demographic indicators and according to answer on a question whether a respondent knows a gay or a lesbian personally.

In May survey Public Opinion Research Center focused on public opinions of women´s right to decide herself to end her pregnancy. Within the survey people also have been expressing their sentiment about acceptability or unacceptability of euthanasia. April survey of CVVM focused on public attitude and public relationships between Czech population and Romany minority. Survey showed that more than four fiths of Czech citizens (85 %) see living together of Romany and non-Romany population as problematic.

In March 2009 CVVM survey investigated Czech public's views with regard to foreigners who live in the long term or permanently in the Czech Republic. 68 % of Czechs see foreign citizens living in the Czech Republic as a problem, 23 % claim the opposite. But, when people should consider their neighbourhood, not the Czech Republic as a whole country, 53 % think foreign citizens are not a problem.

March survey has dealt with a topic of employment of foreigners in Czech Republic. 55 % of Czechs think it is right to employ foreigners, 36 % express the opposite view. The employment of foreigners has higher approval rate among graduates and people with good living standard. On the other hand, people with bad living standard and especially jobless respondents opposed the idea more frequently.
