The Institute of Chemical Process Fundamentals (ICPF) is one of the six institutes constituting the Section of Chemical Sciences of the  Czech Academy of Sciences. The Institute functions as a center for advanced research in chemical, biochemical, catalytic and environmental engineering and it acts as a graduate school for PhD. studies in the fields of chemical engineering, physical chemistry, industrial chemistry, and biotechnology.

  • Dr. Petr Klusoň is to become a member of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE) Executive Board as of January 2018. He will replace Prof. Jiří Drahoš who will retire from this function.The EFCE is a non-profit association, the object of which is to promote co-operation in Europe between non-profit-making professional scientific and technical societies for the general advancement of chemical engineering and as a means of furthering the development of chemical engineering.
