Archeologický ústav AV ČR, Praha, v. v. i. si Vás dovoluje pozvat na dvě přednášky věnované maďarské archeologii, které přednesou Eszter Kreiter (Head of Archaeological Directorate, Budavári Ltd.): „Development-led Archaeology in Hungary“ a Attila Kreiter (Hungarian National Museum): „Digital archaeology – Hungarian National Museum database“.
Přednášky se uskuteční ve čtvrtek 18. května 2017 od 15:00 hodin v knihovně Archeologického ústavu AV ČR v Letenské 4.
The Hungarian National Museum has developed an online Archaeology Database of Hungary. The database is part of the ARIADNE project and its development was supported by the 7th Framework Programme of the EU.
The database at present consists of almost 60 000 archaeological sites and more than 960,000 files ranging from site documentation through to scientific research reports. The content is continuously increasing as the Museum adds new sites and documentation.
You can access the database at: http://archeodatabase.hnm.hu/en. All of the site functionality (including the search terms) is available in both Hungarian and English, which means that the database is easy to browse via keywords.
The presentation introduces the database’s functionality, the structure of accessible documentations and the initiative of encouraging archaeologists to join the database with the documentations of their excavations.¨
