1999 Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences at the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry, Department of Biochemistry, Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague. Dissertation thesis: Study of the protease from Mason-Pfizer monkey virus.
1993 M.Sc., graduated from Institute of Chemical Technology, Prague (specialization in Enzyme Engineering). Diploma thesis: Isolation and characterization of the protease from bovine leukemia virus.
