Soil Composition
The soil composition and chemistry has been studied at number of sites in the catchment. The most detailed studies were performed ta sites LP33 and LP35. Each soil horizon is sampled separately. Various aprameters are than measured for each of horizons. Two types of soils are found in the Lesni potok catchment Gleyic Cambisoils (LP33) and Dystric Cambisoils (LP35) (see below). Profile in Gleyic Cambisoil LP33 contains following horizons: A, B, G. Profile in Dystric Cambisoil LP35 contains following horizons: O, A, B.
