Full-time researcher positions in the Department of Materials Engineering
Institute of Plasma Physics of the CAS in Prague seeks candidates for full-time researcher positions in the Department of Materials Engineering. Our research focuses in surface engineering, interaction of plasma with materials, in particular plasma spraying and spark plasma sintering. Requirements:
- PhD degree (or equivalent) in one of the following: materials science and engineering, physics/chemistry of materials, glass/ceramics materials, corrosion engineering or related fields;
- prior experience in a research lab;
- experience with thermal spraying, ceramics processing, powder metallurgy, or related analytical methods is appreciated but not mandatory;
- prior experience in leading a research project is welcome, but not mandatory;
- proficient written/spoken English with capability of writing scientific papers;
