Improvement in liver disease diagnosis using advanced quantitative methods of magnetic resonance
The main goals of the project are to find out parameters of quantitative MR mapping and texture analysis that characterize and can improve precision of noninvasive diagnosis of the liver diseases (steatosis, fibrosis and inflammation). The obtained parameters will be compared with the results of MR elastography and US elastography that describe fibrosis degree directly. And also to propose optimal procedures based on multiparametric analysis of all quantitative data available including the best texture features. Based on all our results and literature findings we will try to find out the potential of advanced quantitative MR methods in the detection of the liver inflammation, steatosis and fibrosis and how important is the use of the MR elastography.
