Reliable detection of organic molecules, such as methanol or melamin, may be important, for example, in the food industry. A useful tool for their recognition are macrocyclic peptidic dentrimers, which change conformation under external influence. The aim of the project is synthesis of efficient dendrimers labeled by chromophore and fluorophore labels. They will enable to monitor interactions with other organic molecules, for example by spectroscopic methods.
