Engineering Mechanics 2015

The 21st conference Engineering Mechanics brought 203 experts from this country and abroad to discuss industry and research and theory and practice. Students and other young colleagues presented and discussed their own work with distinguished researchers in their respective fields. The May 11–14 colloquium at Svratka featured two keynote lectures, 159 contributions and 23 posters. The poster, Simulation of Nonlinear Characteristic of Aileron Attachment on Aeroelastic Demonstrator Using Active Electromagnetic Spring Concept, was awarded to scientists at the Aeronautical Research and Test Institute in Prague. Among organizers were the CAS Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics and Institute of Thermomechanics. This conference has been held for the past several years at Svratka in the Žďár Highlands.
