In October 2018 Public Opinion Research Centre's survey investigated views of Czech citizens on some social conditions.

From all specific social conditions included in the survey people evaluate mostly positively the accessibility of education (86% positively, 9% critically), a chance to get a job (79% : 18%), and the health care (75% : 23%). All other monitored areas of social conditions - i.e. a chance to get a flat (23% positively, 72% critically), to buy a flat or house (21% : 73%), financial situation to start a family with children (31% : 63%), social security for the elderly (24% : 67%), and life conditions for the handicapped (31% : 51%) - are evaluated mostly critically.

The Public Opinion Research Centre in its October survey examined how Czech citizens perceive the financial situation of their households. They evaluated whether it is difficult to make ends meet with their earnings, but also talked about attitudinal feeling of poverty.

10% of citizens indicated their household to be rich, whilst 22% considered it to be poor. 67% of respondents regard their household as neither rich nor poor. Problems with current budget of their household were stated by 43% of respondents, on the other hand 54% said they have no problems with budget of the household.

June's survey of CVVM asked questions regarding the relationship of workers to their jobs. On the one hand, the survey focused on the topics such as job satisfaction, perception of workplace climate and subjective evaluation of adequacy of earnings. On the other hand, the aim was also to determine the proportion of workers considering the possibility of changing their job and what they think about the probability of job loss.
