His main research interest lies in Plato and the classical Attic philosophy – the sophists, Socrates, tragedy and in the works of Aristotle. He specialises in rhetoric as philosophy, Gorgias, Isocrates, Aristotle, Neorhetoric, Neosophistic and other alternative conceptual schemes from historical as much as systematical point of view.
RESEARCH FIELD
Greek thought of the 6-4th. century b.c.
First focus: Plato and the classical attic philosophy – the sophists, Socrates, tragedy.
Second focus: Aristotle.
Main Research specialisation: Rhetoric as philosophy, Gorgias, Isocrates, Aristotle, Neorhetoric, Neosophistic and other alternative conceptual schemes from historical as much as systematical point of view.
Related studies: Homer, Hesiod, Pindar, Parmenides, Empedocles.
