In April 2017 the Public Opinion Researcch Centre investigated whether respondents trust to selected top politicians. They were given a list with 29 names of top politicians. In a survey there were included names of membres of government, president, chairmen of Senate and Chamber of Deputies, chairmen of parliamentary clubs of political parties in the Chamber of Deputies, chairman of Constitutional Court, the governor of the Czech National Bank, and ombudsman.

In the opinion poll carried out in March 2017 by the Public Opinion Research Centre, questions regarding the current situation in Ukraine were included. More specifically, the questionnaire asked surveyors about their concerns for the situation in Ukraine, and their perception of it as a security threat to the Czech Republic, Europe, and the World. The same survey from March 2017 also implemented analogous questions about the so-called Islamic State (IS), and the previous survey from February 2017 included parallel questions about the refugees (regarding the European migrant crisis). In February 2017 Public Opinion Research Centre included a block of questions connected to accepting refugees from countries affected by military conflicts. Questions focused mainly on opinion towards accepting refugees from concrete regions (Ukraine, Middle East and North Africa), concern with the current situation around refugees and perception of the situation as a security threat.
