Česká politika: Ženy v labyrintu mužů?

The main question examined in this book is why are there relatively few Czech women involved in parliamentary politics. Using an empirical analytical approach, this study also investigates public attitudes towards the participation of women in politics in the Czech Republic. In addition, this research also outlines the barriers to women’s entrance to national politics, i.e. individual, social and institutional factors. In surveying policies that aim to increase the number of women in politics this book presents some of the strategies used in Scandinavia.
