Organic Chemistry

Polycyclic saturated indole alkaloids such as dendrobin or neotuberostemonin have been used since a long time to cure a number of diseases. Their complex architecture also makes them attractive targets to explore new synthetic methodology. In this project new catalytic electron transfer-induced tandem anionic/radical approaches will be developed to allow short and efficient approaches to the natural products.
