This was the theme of an IGLO Open Event organized by the Czech Liaison Office for Research, Development and Innovation. The key speaker for the April 1, 2014 event was Roberto Reig Rodrigo, of the EC Directorate General Education and Culture, responsible for the EIT’s economic and societal impact. The event was linked to the call for proposals that opened February 14, 2014 and to Information Day on March 14, 2014 at the EIT center in Budapest. The EC provided statistical outcomes of the three running KICs (climate, energy and ICT) and explained main changes in the call text for the new 2 KICs (raw materials and healthy living and active aging) contrasted with that in 2009. The call will close September 10, 2014.
