Empiricky podložená komplexní sociologicko-politologická analýza naznačeného fenoménu neomezující se např. na deskripci volebních výsledků, změny ve stranickém vedení atd., ale i na historické podhoubí komunistického hnutí v ČR zejména s ohledem na následující problémové okruhy: (a) Povaha a případná dynamika antisystémové identity KSČM, (b) Hodnotové a sociodemografické ukotvení elektorátu KSČM na základě rozsáhlého empirického šetření po (předpokládaných) parlamentních volbách v r. 2010 (c) vnitřní strukturální předpoklady, politické strategie a proměny politické ideologie KSČM.
Empirically founded and complex sociologic – politological analysis of outlined phenomenon, not limited e.g. to the description of electoral results, the changes in party leadership etc., but also to the historical ground for communist movement in Czech Republic, mainly with respect of following problematic spheres: (a) The nature and prospective dynamics of anti-systemic identity of KSČM, (b) The value and sociodemographical anchorage of KSČM electorate based on broad empiric research after (presumed) parliamentary elections in the year 2010 (c) internal structural presumptions, political strategies and the changes of KSČM political ideology.

Text outlines some aspects of people‘s decision making process during elections in modern mass democracies. Particularly, the aspect of (in)competence of electorate or, as the case may be, the problem of rationality of the political audiance that creates the public opinion. The arguments proving the discrepancy between the normativ and the empiric character of public opinion are purposly disbalanced based on the evaluation of reality.
In conditions of Czechoslovakia between the wars it is extremly difficult to describe precisely the right-left polarisation in politics. It is even more difficult to define pro system and anti-system politics, at least in relation to institutions. Ideological antagonism was made insignificant by the mechanism of political party competition backed by enforced consensus.
Text presents the results of sociological survey, conducted by Center for Public Opinion Research, Institute of Sociology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, in september 2009. This extensive field survey mapped attitudes and public opinion on selected topics and issues that touch the twentieth anniversary of the November revolution in 1989.
Proceedings of essays that compare and reflect ostalgia speeches in the Czech Republic and Germany in many different levels: political, social, including the use of "ostalgia" in commercial areas, educational and cultural. In Proceedings contributed with their views of representatives of various disciplines: political science, sociology, cultural studies, history and media studies.
Contribution was focused on the transformation of the Czech public views on the past and the present regime on many other aspects of private and public life. Based on the results of sociological surveys, among others, notes that there is no uniform or consistent memory of the nation in relation to Communism.
The article focuses on the development of Czech public attitudes towards the EU from the 90s to the present. It is based on a large number of sociological studies that deal with various aspects of the relationship of the Czech public toward European integration (the extent of information, the perceived benefits and risks of integration, attitude towards adoption of a common European currency, the impact of the accession to the EU, satisfaction with EU membership, etc.)
