Anotace přednášky:
This lecture focuses on the history of iron production from the ore and forming it to a functional tool, briefly the history of iron metallurgy. Archaeometric studies on iron objects and metallurgical waste from several archaeological sites in Anatolia will be presented. Besides that, special interest will be put on the transformation of metallurgical techniques and interaction across different cultures.
