The collective monograph tries to propose the general, but comprehensive outline of Czechoslovak travelling and tourism contemporary history since 1945 till 1989, accompanied by several case studies, which are aimed to the specific topics of travelling/tourism domain (like tourist movement, history of ČEDOK travel agency, trade union recreations, week-end housing, regional tourism, communist elites recreations etc.)
