On 17-21 June 2019 the European Commission and energy stake holders organise the annual EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW). The event will focus on renewables and efficient energy use in Europe, new policy developments, best practices and sustainable energy ideas, and the future of Europe’s energy. The event is regularly held since 2006 and consists of the main policy conference in Brussels focused on sustainable energy policy, the EU Sustainable Energy Awards recognising innovation in energy efficiency and renewables, and also the so called Energy Days, activities that raise public awareness of energy related topics organised across all of Europe.
