Job description
Open post-doctoral position (for 1 year with possibility of extension) at the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences (
http://www.fzu.cz) in the Materials for Nanosystems and Biointerfaces research group (
http://ofm.fzu.cz/about-mnb) to support research project activities on diamond based electrochemical applications, e.g. dye sensitized photocathode in solar cells and biosensors. The selected candidate will contribute to the fabrication and optimization of porous boron doped diamond layers and boron doped diamond electrode arrays within a microfluidic system and their characterization.
Requirements
The candidate, up to 5 years after Ph.D. defense, shall speak fluent English and be familiar with at least one of the following areas - electrochemistry, PVD and CVD growth technology, microfabrication technologies, structural, electrical and electrochemical characterization methods. Experience in electronics, modeling (e.g. COMSOL Multiphysics), programing (e.g. Labview) and Czech language are added values.
