Abstract:
Wavelet analysis has been extensively studied in the last decade.
However certain areas such as families of wavelets associated with
Haar–Vilenkin function and vector-valued wavelets requires more
systematic study. In this talk I will discuss basic properties of
Haar–Vilenkin wavelet and associated multiresolution analysis.
Known results of vector-valued wavelets and a few extensions of
those results will also be discussed.
