Abstract	The major goal of the project is a rational design of novel binders, which are able to effectively disrupt protein-protein interactions (PPIs) involved in various host-virus interactions. The work will focus on structurally well-characterized PPIs implicated in replication of various RNA viruses and retroviruses. The design of new ligands will be based on fragment-based approach. Subsequent optimization of acquired hits will be performed by means of medicinal chemistry strategies combined with extensive structural studies and molecular docking.
