Topic DNA display of small molecules
Faculty FCHT or FPBT VŠCHT, PřF UK
Abstract

Synthesis of hypermodified DNA stretches will be developer based on polymerase incorporation of combinations of 2, 3 and 4 modified nucleotides bearing selected biologically relevant small molecules (peptides, sugars, drugs etc.) as substituents. The resulting monodisperse oligo- and polymers will be based on DNA scaffold bearing the small molecules at precisely defined positions and combinations. Hybridization and folding of these oligo- and polymers will be studied as well as their interactions with proteins and biological activity.
