Topic Inhibitors of protein-protein interactions
Faculty FPBT VŠCHT, PřF UK
Abstract

The major goal of the project is a rational design of novel binders, which are able to effectively disrupt protein-protein interactions (PPIs) involved in numerous pathological processes. The work will focus on structurally characterized PPIs implicated in cancer development and viral replication. The design of new ligands will be based on high-throughput screening. Subsequent optimization of acquired hits will be performed by means of medicinal chemistry strategies combined with extensive structural studies and molecular docking.
