A postdoctoral position is available in the research group of Dr. Jan Bartoš at Centre of Plant Structural and Functional Genomics (lead by prof. Jaroslav Doležel), Institute of Experimental Botany, Olomouc, Czech Republic. The group is studying the structure of the plant genomes at sequence level using NGS, molecular and cytogenetic approaches and bioinformatic tools.

We are searching for a motivated Postdoc/Junior Scientist to work in the Lab of Plant Reproduction (Institute of Experimental Botany AS CR, Prague, Lysolaje) for three years in the frame of GACR grant, starting in April/May 2019. The field of study is molecular background of flowering. We require knowledge of lab molecular methods (PCR, cloning, gene expression analyzes), capability to acquire new skills, and basic experience with plant cultivation. Orientation in bioinformatics will be an advantage. We require CV and motivation letter.
