Notice: Exceptional library closure on Friday 5 April (9 a.m.–1:30 p.m.)
On Friday 5 April 2019 the library will be closed from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. for operational reasons.
During the closure the loans can be returned into book return box in the lobby.
From 1:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. the library will be open as usual.
We are sorry for inconveniences and thank you for your understanding.
CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY & Opening hours change
The library will be closed on 21 December from 5 p.m. and from 22 December to 1 January 2019.
The regular library operation will start again on Wednesday 2 January 2019.

Summer opening hours and library closure
From 28 July to 9 September 2018 the loan services won’t be available and the main study will be closed.
On other days the study will be operating as usual
(Mo-Fri, 9 a.m.–7 p.m.).

The library will be closed from Friday 30 March to Monday 2 April included.
The book return box will not be available as well due to the closure of entire building.

The library will be closed from 23 December to 1 January 2018.
For operational reasons, the library is also exceptionally closed on Thursday 21 December from 1 p.m. and on Fridy 22 December from 4 p.m.

Dear users, we would like to remind you that on the Monday public holidays on 1 and 8 May 2017 the library and the entire building of the Czech Academy of Sciences will be closed. Book return box also won’t be available at a given time.
