Horizon Impact Award is dedicated to EU-funded projects whose results have created societal impact across and beyond Europe. The prize acknowledges and rewards the most influential and impactful projects under Horizon 2020, the EU research and innovation programme, and its predecessor, the 7^th Framework Prorgramme ( FP7, 2007 – 2013). The contest is now open to FP7 and Horizon 2020 projects that have been completed and that can provide proof of the impact they have created.  Each of the five winners will receive €10 000.

The prize aims to illustrate the wider socio-economic benefits of EU investment in research and innovation and to encourage project beneficiaries to best manage and utilize research results.

The five winners will be announced and awarded at the R&I Days in Brussels, in September, with more than 4,000 high-level participants. 

The contest is now open for applications.
