The 16th annual conference of the Czech Days for European Research (CZEDER 2018) was held jointly by the Technology Center of the Czech Academy of Sciences and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports on 25 October 2018. The main theme of the conference was to strengthen excellence through participation in the EU Framework Programs for Research, and innovation.
The conference was opened by the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Research, Pavel Doleček. The European Commission's Director-General for Research and Innovation, Jean-Eric Paquet, presented the theme of the new 9th Framework Program "Horizon Europe".
