Topic Modifications of nucleotides and RNA by reactive groups for bioconjugations and cross-links
Faculty FCHT or FPBT VŠCHT, PřF UK
Abstract

Ribonucleotides and RNA bearing reactive functional groups will be designed and synthesized. The modified RNAs will be prepared by polymerase incorporations of modified nucleoside triphosphates or by click reactions on RNA. Bioorthogonal reactions of these groups in RNA will be studied, e.g. cross-linking with proteins, attachment of other useful functional groups and applications in chemical biology and diagnostics.
