Research interest
Molecular simulations of biological membranes and molecules associated with them, with a particular emphasis on membrane-embedded and membrane-bound fluorescent probes. Enhanced sampling and coarse-graining techniques. Quantum calculations of single- and multi-photon absorption properties of fluorescent molecules. Mathematical processing and interpretation of experimental data obtained from polarization microscopy of fluorescent dyes and proteins associated with cell membranes. Molecular dynamics of neuronal calcium sensor (NCS) proteins. Conformational transitions and allosteric effects of calcium binding.
