Prof. Ing. Sergii Kuzntesov, DrSc. is an expert in both structural mechanics and in the physical modelling of airflow processes using wind tunnel tests: simulation atmospheric boundary layer, interference effects on tall building, local wind environments, wind loads and structural response in urban areas, wind effects on building heat loss and ventilation, recreating climatic conditions for ice accretion and snow on structure surfaces, and full scale measurements of wind loads. He is a member of International Association of Wind Engineering. He was in the past the head of the wind engineering group at the Donbas Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture and running the aerodynamic tunnel in Donetsk and also in Kiev (Ukraine). He also worked at Ruhr University Bochum in the year 2001 (Germany). Author and co-author of books, articles in the international journals and local journals, and textbooks.
