Studied at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Brno University of Technology. Since 1992 he has worked for the Institute of Archaeology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in Brno, initially as a specialist, since 1997 as a researcher.

 

Specialises in the Palaeolithic, particularly the study of technology (Bohunicien, Gravettian) and the study of settlement strategies using GIS.
