Registration includes:
- Accommodation for 10 nights, check-in 10 June 2019, check-out 20 June 2019
- Breakfast, lunch, dinner and refreshments throughout the course

- Participation in all course lectures and practical training

Payment
Successful applicants will be asked to confirm their participation on the course by paying the course fee before 20 May 2019. The payment details will be part of the notification e-mail. There will be a waiting list of a few applicants and places will be awarded if the possibility arises.
Selection criteria
Applications will be evaluated by the organizers and co-organizers. Applicants should be aware that in order to be considered for place on this course they have to complete the application page including a short CV, a description of project and an explanation of their motivation. Incomplete application will not be considered.
Following guidelines for EMBO Practical Courses, this event is primarily addressed to students and young researchers. But considering its specificity, we will also promote the attendance of scientists and technical staff of laboratories or facilities who have the potential to spread the acquired techniques to their local scientific communities. All applicants are also invited to mention in their application if they have or will have access to EM equipment after the course.
The application must include a project description (maximum 2000 words).
Poster specifications
Students are encouraged also to present a poster which can be exhibited throughout the course and may provoke discussions during e.g. coffee breaks.
Travel grants
A limited number of travel grants are available for participants. Applicants do not need to apply separately for travel grants for this event but should indicate on the registration form if they wish to be considered for a travel grant. Selection of awardees is handled directly by the organizer who will notify all eligible participants. More information is available at EMBO Travel Grants' page.
Child care grant
EMBO Courses and Workshops offers grants to offset additional child care costs incurred by participants or speakers when participating at any EMBO Courses and Workshop funded meeting. Eligible costs include fees for a caregiver or child-care facility, travel costs for a caregiver, or travel costs for taking the child to the meeting etc. Please indicate on the registration form whether you would like to be considered for the grant. Please also describe how you intend to use the child care grant and specify the sum that you will need.
Additional Registration Information
On the first day the students will be expected to describe a summary of their research project in a concise 7 minutes presentation.
