This elegant species, a typical flower visitor, is one from the most common European longhorn beetles.

Body length:13 - 20 mm
Life cycle:2 - 3 years
Adults in:May - August
Host plant:polyphagous in deciduous trees (Quercus, Fagus, Carpinus, Salix, Alnus, Populus, Betula, Corylus etc.
Distribution:Europe, Caucasus, Transcaucasia, North Iran, Turkey
