Ústav teoretické a aplikované mechaniky
Ve dnech 14.-17. května 2018 se uskuteční již 24. ročník mezinárodní konference Engineering Mechanics ve Svratce uprostřed malebných Žďárských vrchů. Pořadatelem letošního ročníku je po 3 letech opět Ústav teoretické a aplikované mechaniky AV ČR, v. v. i. spolu se ŽĎAS, a.s. Spolupořadateli jsou již tradičně Ústav mechaniky těles, mechatroniky a biomechaniky (Fakulta strojního inženýrství Technické univerzity Brno), Ústav termomechaniky AV ČR, v. v. i., IFTOMM Member Committe of the Czech Republic, Česká společnost pro mechaniku a Asociace inženýrské mechaniky.
O 24. ročníku:
The objective of the 24th conference is to provide a forum for researchers to discuss the state-of-the-art in Mechanics of Solids, Fluids and Thermomechanics, this particularly in connection with problems under investigation in the Czech Republic. Problems of engineering mechanics, related to the contemplated topics, will be discussed and their solutions presented during the sessions of the Conference held at the Hotel Svratka, situated in the beautiful countryside of the Žďár Highlands.
The EM2018 aims to provide a forum for researchers, industry practitioners, engineers and postgraduate scholars to promote exchange and disseminate knowledge and experiences of the most recent results and advances in a wide range of topics in Engineering Mechanics, including, but not limited to:
Biomechanics Dynamics
Fluid Mechanics Fracture Mechanics
Historical Structures Kinematics
Mechanics of Solids Mechatronics
Reliability of Structures Technology
Thermomechanics
All of the posters exhibited at the Conference will be accepted into the competition for the
prize of the general manager of the ŽĎAS company. The Conference Proceedings will be prepared in
the same way as in successful years 2011, 2014, 2016 and 2017, when the proceedings were indexed in
in Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics, formerly ISI Thomson Reuters).
