Petr Machleidt is a research associate whose interests include evaluation of social assumptions and consequences of the development of science and technology, methodological aspects in assessment and forecasting of new technologies, as well as the relationship between technology and culture forming an innovation-friendly environment for the so called "creative economy". He deals with the relationship between technological and social innovations and the relationship between applied research and the public.
