POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW position in the field of physical chemistry

J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry of the CAS for the purposes of the project of the large research infrastructure “Nanomaterials and Nanotechnologies for Environment Protection and Sustainable Future (NanoEnviCz)”, Reg.No.LM2015073, supported by the Czech Ministery of Education, Sports and Youths offers a POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW position in the field of physical chemistry.

General requirements:

  • Experience with writing scientific papers and publishing in impacted journal
  • Advanced level of written and spoken English
  • PhD degree in physics or technical sciences
  • Competencies necessary for team work.
     

Job description: Measurement on HR TEM, spectroscopy, chemical modification of 2DM and NP.

Specific requirements:

  • More than 4-year scientific experience in the synthetic and analytical laboratories
  • Practical experience with analytical equipment NMR, PXRD, FTIR, TGA, HPLC
  • Practical experience with mass spectrometers, SEM, Tem UV-Vis and photoluminescence in solid and liquid states
     

Position starts:  1 August 2019

Duration of the job: 12  months

Contract type: full-time job
