RNDr. Miloš Chvojka, CSc.
Miloš Chvojka is the expert in the field of research and development in the EU and he deals with collection and archiving of documents of the EU in this field. The target is to ensure information on research and development in the EU and the realization of the portal of research and development in the European research area. He is full member of the Committee of Senior Officials of the COST. He is graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of the Charles University in the year 1966. He passed out the scientific special training in the field of the experimental physics and plasma physics at the Institute of Physics of the Academy of Science in the year 1975 on the theme Instabilities of the Positive Column of the Glow Discharge in the Molecular Gases. In the period from 1980 till 1993 he was interested in quantum electronics and he took part in the building, operation and study of the iodine power laser system PERUN. In the year 1993 he left the Institute of Physics and joined the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MEYS), where he took part in the establishment of the Department of International Cooperation in Research and Development. He took part in the accession negotiations of the Czech Republic to the EU in the field of Research and Development and other activities like COST, CERN and SÚJV Dubna. For a long time until his retirement from MEYS he acted as the National Coordinator of COST
